Eligibility: Texas-based nonprofits, individuals, universities, and unincorporated/for-profit groups providing arts performances

TCA maintains an approved Touring Roster of Texas-based touring companies and artists. In this program, the artist or artist's management sets the fee and negotiates the booking. Applicants must have a history of touring and maintain a reasonable fee range. Roster artists are required to perform outside their community regularly. Touring artists offer single performances as well as optional services that may include workshops, master classes, lecture-demonstrations, arts education components, residencies, or short performances. The fact that an artist is approved to the roster does not imply or guarantee that the artist will receive bookings in the coming year.  This program is available every other year.

Deadline: January 31, 2018 by midnight (CST) for online application and all attachments.

Please note:
  • Individuals and performing groups residing primarily in Texas are eligible to apply.
  • Nonprofit organizations that are recognized by the IRS as Texas-based organizations are also eligible.
  • One application per artist/group.  If you work as a soloist and in a group, you can indicate in your group's application that soloists (or smaller groups) are also available.
  • This is for placement on the Texas Touring Roster from September 1, 2018 through August 31, 2020.
  • The information you enter in this application form will be the basis for your roster profile for that time period.  TCA is always glad to update contact information, but will not update your roster profile (photograph, roster program description, and fee ranges.)
  • TCA will require a webinar training for all approved companies and artists to ensure familiarity with the TCA grant processes.
